Terms of Use

Article 1: Purpose

These terms govern the use of GoblinClipper, a browser extension (Chrome) and its accompanying service, which let you save web pages into your own Notion databases.

By installing or using GoblinClipper, you accept these terms. The Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.

Article 2: Definitions

• User: anyone who uses GoblinClipper, for personal or professional purposes.
• Extension: the GoblinClipper browser extension.
• Service: the Extension and the server that handles the connection to Notion.
• Subscription: a possible paid plan giving access to extra features or limits, if one is ever offered.
• Publisher: means GoblinClipper, published by Mathias BRADICEANU.

Article 3: Access to the Service

The Service is currently free. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if it differs, to use it. You also need a Notion account and must connect GoblinClipper to Notion through Notion's official sign-in. In Notion, you choose which pages and databases GoblinClipper can access.

Your use of Notion remains subject to Notion's terms. GoblinClipper is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Notion Labs, Inc.

The Publisher may set a monthly limit on the number of pages saved for free. The Publisher may suspend access to the Service in case of fraud, abusive use or breach of these terms, under the conditions of Article 5.

Article 4: Paid plans

No paid plan exists today. If a Subscription is ever offered:

• its price, duration, renewal and cancellation terms, and the applicable withdrawal terms will be shown to you before any payment, and you will never be charged without accepting them;
• payments will be processed by Stripe;
• the financial terms shown when you subscribe will apply, and any price change will only apply to later renewals;
• you will be able to cancel your Subscription before its renewal date;
• a failed payment may lead to the suspension of the paid features;
• for any dispute about a Subscription, you will be able to use a consumer mediator free of charge, whose details will be given to you before you subscribe.

Article 5: User obligations

The User agrees to:

• not disrupt the proper operation of the Service nor try to get around its limits;
• not use the Service for unlawful purposes;
• respect the intellectual property rights of the Publisher and of third parties;
• respect the terms of the sites they save and those of Notion.

In case of a breach, the Publisher may suspend access to the Service after informing you. The suspension may be immediate in case of serious abuse or where the law requires it.

Article 6: Your content

The pages you save go into your own Notion workspace and remain yours. GoblinClipper does not keep them on its server. You are responsible for the content you save and for how you use it.

Article 7: Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher cannot be held liable for interruptions or errors of the Service caused by:

• technical maintenance;
• Notion or its API being unavailable or changing;
• problems with the Internet or the User's environment;
• intrusions or security breaches attributable to third parties;
• the loss of pages still waiting to be sent, for example if the Extension is uninstalled.

The Service is provided as is. No warranty is given that it fits the User's specific needs.

The Publisher reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Service, informing you in advance when possible.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

Article 8: Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, the User agrees to compensate the Publisher for the harm caused by a faulty, unlawful or abusive use of the Service that is established and attributable to the User.

Article 9: Ending your use

You can stop using GoblinClipper at any time: sign out in the Extension's settings, uninstall it, and remove its access from Notion (Connections). To delete the data kept on our server, write to support@goblinclipper.com.

Article 10: Changes

The Publisher may change these terms at any time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. The applicable version is the one published when you use the Service, or, for a Subscription, when you subscribe or renew.

Article 11: Force majeure

The Publisher cannot be held liable for failing to meet its obligations in case of force majeure: natural disaster, epidemic, cyberattack, network outage, fire, war, strike, or any unforeseeable event beyond its reasonable control.

Article 12: Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute falls under the courts of Bucharest (Romania). If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring a claim before the courts where you live.
